Hi,

I have received the "Ready for Visa" mail and now I have shifted the address in the same city, I sent the mail to the CIC but no response yet, should I go ahead and submit the passport for stamping or should I wait for the response from CIC, is there any help line number to get this clarified, I am in Canada.

Please help.

Thanks
Karan

Cic take atleast 10-20 days to update the addres and the new address is reflected on ecas once updates are done.
They dont confirm once they have change the address.
You can also change the mailing address directly on ecas.
But I am not sure if it immediately get reflected on your file
I guess passport has to be send within 60 days.
So, i would suggest waiting for 10-15days before sending the passport.

Thank you my friend. In between just saw the status as "Decision made" what does this mean. Will there be any delay because of address change meaning any other process to be followed again.

Thanks,
Karan

Buy two National Xpresspost envelopes and use one to send the passport, the other for return. Write your new address on the TO section of the return envelope, fold it in half and put it inside along with passport.

They will deliver to this address. Also make note of the tracking numbers on both envelopes.

Thank you, believe will not have any other processing because of change in address, now status says "Decision Made"

Thanks,
Karan
