Change of status from TRV to PR when spouse's SOWP is in process

Hi Folks,

I am currently in my temprorary closed work permit and applying SOWP for my wife who is residing outside Canada.

My question is, what happens after she applied for SOWP, if there is a change of my status from TRV to PR. Does it affect her canadian immigration, since my status changed during her SOWP processing time?

But if you have your spouse is also included in your PR file, she should have PR too right?
If so, you can just withdraw the SOWP, you might be able to get some fee refund

I just got recently married but my PR AOR is done 3 months back, so I don't have her in the PR when applied

You should declare about change in your Marital Status and inform IRCC duly
