Change of NOC code

Hi All,

I need help regarding change in NOC code.

When I applied for my PR, I was on Technical Analyst role. Now I have been offered a promotion to higher role which has a new NOC code.
My company is applying for a new work permit with the new NOC code.

1. Do I need to inform CIC regarding this.
2. If yes, what are the details I need to give them and what are the documents I need to attach.
3. Does this post any issues to my application.

Please help me with this.

CIC will evaluate your application with the docs that you already provided. You can advice them that you received a promotion/NOC change, howevver dont expect them to evaluate you as per the new NOC.
The contacting CIC is your prerogative.

AOR says that -> you need to inform change in occupation or employer. Does the NOC change mean a occupation change.
If yes, then I might have to send the details.
Am i right?
