Hi everyone! So I recently changed my last name (to match my husbands) and I have changed my U.S. driver's license and social security card. I have not changed my passport as of yet and due to time constraints, I won't be able to get the passport with my married name before we submit the paperwork.
So my question is... should I use my maiden name (as that matches my current passport) on all the documents or use my married name even though it doesn't match my passport?
We considered photocopying my drivers license and attaching it with the photocopy of my passport, attaching an addendum saying we are waiting on the new passport to arrive. I'm just not sure how strict they are when it comes to this kind of thing.
I am in Ontario if that makes a difference.
