Change of First Name (typographical error)

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone have encountered the same situation that I have, and how where you able to correct it?

Ok here's the situation:

For example my real name is Mark James Bond. But on my latest passport (which is included on the application), the name indicated is MarkJames Bond (no space in between first names).

On all the forms that i filled up for my application, I indicated Mark James Bond. Even my birth certificate (supporting document) shows the same.

But, recently I just received my PER and sadly, they took my passport name and it indicates MarkJames Bond as my applicant name.

Should I contact CIC or the local VO? What should be the best solution for this?

Well you submitted the passport with MarkJames Bond and as the passport has to match the COPR that is what you got. You will either need a new passport with the correct name, and resubmit it, or live with being MarkJames in the Immigration files.

I think I would have my passport replaced and submit again.
