Hi I’m a Live-in Caregiver caring elderly, and i have met a new employer which is willing to hire me to take care of her kids. Is it possible to change from elderly care to child care? And by the time i will apply for a permanent residency will my work experience as LCP elderly care will be counted?

If you want to work for a different employer, your new employer will have to obtain an approved LMIA and you will have to apply for a new work permit.

Thank you. But they were saying since i came here under LCP caring for elderly and if i change it to child care is not advisable since the months that i was working for the elderly care will not be counted when i will apply for PR. I will be under in a new pathway under Caring for Children for is that true?
