Hello

I have submitted my CEC application in November & just received Biometric Instruction Letter. I lost my job after submitting the application and I will start a new job soon. I have 2 below questions:

Q1. - Do I need to inform IRCC about changes in my employment (starting a new job)?
Q2 - Do it has to be of same TEER level or it can be below TEER 3 (e.g TEER 4)?

My application is currently in process and I already have 1 year of TEER 3 level Canadian work experience. As far as I know, applicants under CEC are required to have minimum 1 year of skilled work experience at the time of submitting the application. But I am not sure whether downgrading the TEER level after submission will effect the application or not? Requesting your expert advise.

Thanks.

Q1. - Do I need to inform IRCC about changes in my employment (starting a new job)? - Yes, you're legally obligated to let them know as soon as you start your new job!
Q2 - Do it has to be of same TEER level or it can be below TEER 3 (e.g TEER 4)? - As long as you got enough experience to claim those points for CEC (not going below the cut-off), you should be good even with changing your TEER 3 to TEER 4!

Thank you for the reply @Hyper103

What should I include while informing IRCC about changes in my employment? Is pay slip is enough? Or if I have to include confirmation of employment, does it has to be in a specified format (like on official letter head, include all the responsibilities, working hours, annual pay, benefits, etc)?

You could get a generic experience letter from your new job and attach the paystubs with it. The format doesn't matter as such because you won't be getting any points for it!
