I had applied for AINP in April.I got my file number in June.I am planning to change my employer.Just wanted to know if this change of employer at this time will affect my AINP proceesing in any way.

Please Suggest!

u should inform AINP of the change and they will ask you for docs to verify that u r in a similar job with ur new employer. Failiure in notification can result in rejection. Always be truthful.

Thanks For Your Response!

I don't think so the new employer will give me letter stating my job title and duties as he would have already spent money on transfering my H1 to his company.what should i do then.what do you suggest?

AINP sometimes asks for recent paystubs to make sure that you still have valid H1-B status. There may be a problem if AINP finds that you have changed your job by looking at your paystubs (your case may be delayed if they start questioning about your application and asking for more documents, or failure in updating AINP about your application may lead to rejection, like bendjoe mentioned). It is better to notify them any changes as soon as possible.

U have every right to ask for ur LCA and other H1 filing papers. Every H1 employee is supposed to carry a copy of these papers. I am sure ur employer also know this. So there wont be a problem.

Thanks Guys!!

I will update you if i change my employer.

Does the file number issued by AINP also gives some hint about the case status?I have read in some blogs people saying that :for th emonth of june the file number issued are starting with 3XXXX.
Once you get file number...what is the probability of getting the nomination?
