Hello all,

I was hired by an employer three years ago “ XYZ Diamonds - the parent company but worked for EFG Precious (being a subsidiary).

The offer letter i recvd and signed was from XYZ Diamonds and my work contract was with XYZ Diamonds but i mostly worked for the operations of EFG Precious and represented EFG Precious only.

Now a change occured and EFG Precious is no longer a subsidiary of XYZ Diamonds, and is a seperate company. The owners of XYZ Diamonds also sold off their shares in EFG precious and new owners bought shares of EFG Precious.

I still work for EFG Precious and my contract will shift to EFG Precious now, and probably the experience letter that i get from my boss for filing EOI will be of EFG Precious.

Will that conflict with the offer letter that i previously recvd from XYZ Diamonds? How can i avoid this from being a conflict when i file for EOI?

On my end, I will be able to furnish the Trade license of both XYZ and EFG to show that earlier, owners were same for both the companies but now EFG has new owners. And my boss is also kind enough to co-operate with me to help me with ref letters, even if i need to aquire any ref letter from the prev parent group XYZ diamonds.

Just wanted to have a clear understanding on this to avoid any conflict.

Is the carve out of EFG from XYZ available on the Internet or is there some documentation available which can provide evidence? If it you can prove that you got an offer from XYZ and but we’re delegated to work within the EFG subsidiary. But because of the company’s business decision the carve out happened and EFG is no longer associated with the XYZ

Yes i would be able to request the company to show “change of ownership” like Trade license and MOA showing owners changed (with sale and repo of shares).
But them being a small-sized business, the news is not on the internet.

That's fine, include the change of ownership document. In addition get a letter from EFG stating this changes and mentioning that your work experience/employment history in EFG is being accounted for since the time you had originally joined XYZ.
