Hi,

I landed last week (last week of April) and up until now when I log in the online site to change address (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=coa&_ga=1.84189981.540392743.1462332322) I get an error that they couldn't look up my document.

Has anyone else experience this problem when landing and how did you go about it? I am quite anxious because I am in the US at the moment and will return this weekend using just my COPR when I drive through.

The systems accepts only the primary applicants account to change address.

You can always call up CIC and do it over the phone.
Also, no address is printed on the card itself.
This address is merely used to deliver your card.

If the error indicates "they couldn't look up" your information, it may be that you're making an error in at least one of the required information fields. I'd advise you double check what you're selecting on "Identification Type" in relation to which number you're providing. If you select say "Unique Client Identifier" or "Application Number", be sure to provide the corresponding number as indicated on your COPR. Otherwise, I think its just an error in entry somewhere.

Hi,

Yes, I double checked my entries and I know they are correct. I saw in another forum that another person cannot change her address as well. I wonder if it is a glitch.

I was able to log in and submit a request for address change. However it does take 15 days for the change to be made.

Are you guys using this ecas link to change address: https COLON //services3 DOT cic DOT gc DOT ca/ecas/dataaccessexception DOT do?app=coa

It is not working for me too.. and it never worked for anyone in the past because I heard CIC revoked ECAS access for everyone.
