Hi everyone,
Just have a couple of questions which someone might be able to help me with.
We put in our application 6 months ago for my Canadian wife to sponsor me, and things are moving slowly (the application is being processed at the London office). Unfortunately CIC in Canada made a mistake when entering our postcode, and 6 months later, despite several attempts to get them to correct it, e-Cas still has the wrong postcode. I've sent a letter to the London visa office (did this 5 months ago when our first letter arrived - it still reached us despite the incorrect post code, but I don't want to rely on that happening each time), and I've also used the online contact form. So I'm interested in what ways people have notified them of a change in address, and whether the new address appeared on e-Cas?
Given I've been able to monitor the status via e-Cas, I haven't been too concerned about the incorrect address, as I'm assuming any change in our status will show there, so I'll at least know if something is happening. But my question is, if they want me to come in for an interview, or if they request more information for anything, will that show up on e-Cas? What other status messages will appear? So far, in the PR status page for me, it has the date London started processing it (Nov 5, 2008) and also that medical results have been received. The second appeared in December, and it's been all quiet since.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Emad
