Hello Everyone ,
Please help me with this.
I have started working from Mid June 2013.My company has raised pay for everyone which has come into effect starting July 2014.Now my question is , when asking for reference letter from my employer , what annual pay should he putting in the letter?
In the application , when asked about annual salary what should I now put in ? The old one or new one?
Will this create a problem ? 90 percent of my paystubs will show one pay and the remaining will reflect the new pay.
Please help me with this.

Thank you in advance

The reference letter should state both salaries, and explanation that the pay raise has taken place. In the application, quote the 'current' pay at the time of the application. This will not create a problem if stated on the reference letter.

Hi,

I was in same boat as yours and I called CIC to confirm weather it would affect my case or NOT. To which one of the call centre agent replied to me that if it is an increment then just notify CIC by writing a letter or an email explaining about the difference.
But, usually they would know that it is because of rise in the pay, and if they have any doubts then they will ask for an explanation. So don't worry for now....

Why not both? It's not difficult... "Mr x started at xx wage/salary, and received a raise on DATE to XXX wage/salary.
