Change in Employement

Hi All,

I have submitted my application in Jan 2016 (ITA Dec 15) . I have four years of experience as a "Software Engineer" and hence have applied under 2173 NOC. From Aug 2015 I have changed my Domain and have been working as a bioinformatician. I have not claimed any points for this and mentioned this only in my Personal history.

Now I am changing my job in the same domain (Bioinformatics) and my job position is "Scientist" . My question is that should I update CIC on this change as the job title is conflicting from the NOC i have applied for and as I am not claiming any points for the new job as well.

Please help me in clearing my doubt.

For your current PR application it won't matter: IRCC will take into account the experience until application date.
CIC doesn't need to be updated unless you have changes in your family or changes in the permanent job offer.
