Change in e-mail address

Hello Everyone,

I had a question. My file is in process and Is there anyway I can change e-mail address to get all notifications about my application.

I mean instead of all e-mails going to my lawyer is it way I can change his e-mail address to my e-mail address for all notifications.

best way is to ask a password from your lawyer for that particular mail. Both of you check the same mail.
 
he wont give me.. I see there is another option in MY CIC where it says E-mail for notifications and there is update button on bottom.

Do you think I should change it there .

well dont do anything without taking your lawyers in confidence. He can also do the same tomorrow. change it. Just request him that you will check the mail daily and tell him when there is update. Dont give him a chance to stop your file in between and your money is gone!

well lawyers dont like it thats why. they think you will operate it yourself and they wont get fees , so they keep such passwords to them only. Anyway its up to you.
 
I spoke to him yesterday and I paid him upfront full fee. He is ok with that.

But I want to know If I change email address on my CIC in notification section, will I get all related e-mails to my file on my email address from now onwards or is there any other process to change it .
