Change in DLI

Hello,
I am from India. I got my student visa after 2 visa refusal however I had applied for May’22 intake but I missed due to delay in visa now my college refuse to get admission in Sept’22 intake . They asked me to pay new application fees of 100 $ CAD for Jan’23 and I had done it but I haven’t heard anything from them . It had been 2 months . So what should I do ? I secured my seat in other clg for Sept’22 intake and I had also rised webform regarding to change DLI but I haven’t hear from IRCC . Some say that you can fly after change DLI nub as IRCC ll give student permit for previous DLI only but others say that you have to submit new application .. can anyone has any suggestions ? Or anyone is suffering the same problem as mine ? Your help would be appreciated.

So you have the study visa? If changing DLI and you have never studied at the college on your permit for at least a semester or a year then you need a new study permit. You can no longer switch DLIs without attending the college listed on your permit. IRCC changed their rules over a year ago.

1/ New DLI , you need to apply for a new study permit before entering Canada.
