Change in age and impact on CRS

I have a birthday coming up and this will take me into a new age category which is 10 points lower. Does this mean that my score will be automatically updated to reflect 10 point lower than what I submitted last year?

If you are talking about your Express Entry profile, then yes, your CRS points will be automatically updated to reflect your age.
If you have an ITA or submitted your PR application already, then don't worry about it. Good luck!

It should be automatically updated but as the system is complete garbage sometimes it can take quite some time (days/weeks) for such update to occur.
