Hi guys,

I have sent my PR application a couple of weeks ago. Now my bank has sent me a new credit card which means that the credit card information I provided in my applcation is no longer valid. How can I inform immigrations about this change?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, you can't do that now? You can trying sending an email with new payment form to CIO but there is no guarantee that they will update your information.

That's the problem with credit card payment for PR Application.

Money Order and DD always safe. Cheque is also OK but Some people forget to get their check certified from BANK.

Always pay with Money Order or DD :P :P :P

However, some times it is better to pay with the credit card because if you don't want to proceed with application then you can block the card and your application will be returned as incomplete. And believe me, there are so many people who do not want to proceed with the application.

Why people apply if they do not want CEC to process it.

That's not an issue. Send them update payment info form with new CC details along with cover letter briefly explaining your situation. Also include your Name, DOB, UCI#, Application received date, Passport#, etc on your cover letter. Don't worry you will get through this. Just send them amended payment for as soon as possible.

Hey thanks for the quick response.
and should I send this form by mail? where can I find it?

Thanks!

Send it through mail as well as email. In email also mention that you have already sent those original documents by mail and also include tracking no.
