Hello there everyone!

I'm made this topic to shed light on everyone.

1. What are the chances of getting rejected or approval after RPRF request?

Thank you!

My opinion - there are equal chances of rejection/approval. RPRF request should not be used to gauge success/failure of an application.

Before (a few years ago) getting an RPRF request was a somewhat accurate indicator that all is well on your application. This is because the request was observed to be sent near the end of the application process, and was observed to be a pre-cursor to issuance of a visa.

This is not a valid observation anymore - as it is observed in the past few years, the RPRF may be requested mid-process, even while medical/security/criminality and/or other eligibility checks are being done concurrently, and pending results. Triggering an RPRF request has been observed as not dependent on the results/sequential after completion of the admissibility checks. So there exists the more common scenario of the RPRF requested and paid for, but the applicant can be rejected based on the results of medical/criminality/security/other eligibility assessments.

RPRF usually is requested after medical results have been received by the visa office. In my case, RPRF is requested 2 months after received my medical results. So I'm assuming they already did all the background/criminal checks right? Thanks!

Yes they did - but it does not mean that these checks have been completed/finished and assessments issued already. Those are two different things.

Your medical results may have been received - but has there been a medical assessment already issued by an RMO? Similarly, your background checks may have been done - but are there security/criminality assessments issued? The only way you can be certain is get your GCMS notes as see if these checks are marked as PASSED and not in PENDING. Until all of them are completed, you won't get a final assessment/decision, and within that timeframe, there are still possibilities of rejection. This is why my opinion is that you can't use RPRF nowadays to gauge success/failure of an application. Many will look as this as a pessimistic view, but I rely on observations and the data in GCMS/ATIP notes. Best way I have seen and have used - get yout GCMS/ATIP notes - as it has more information.

I have seen many posts/cases of different applicants from different VOs having paid RPRF, but still has these assessments pending. They have even completed all the seminars in the meantime while waiting for their assessments to be completed and a decision made.
