Hi everyone,

I was wondering what are the chances of my spouse applying for a visitor visa to Canada and getting approved? He does not live in my country of origin.

We both work well-paying jobs, and since I will be graduating from my Masters this November, I would love if he can attend the ceremony.

My only fear is being judged because I was a refugee (Now PR)- and the officer would think that he will be claiming asylum.

If anyone has been in this boat please share your insight.

Thanks!

Will be tough for your spouse to get a TRV but no harm trying.
