- Not qualifying the 67 points mark
- Failure in Background check - False documentation
- Security Check failure and criminal records which can be a threat to the people of Canada
- Health Issues

Have you ever heard denial based on family member not present in Canada at the time full applicatin was being reviwed by local visa office. Applicant claimed points based on family member was resident of Canada but he was denied because of his relative's extended absence. Any thoughts.

Yes it can be one of the reason since the relative would have crossed the minimum period of stay to maintain the PR status
