Hi,

I have recently got my student visa rejected due to the following reasons:

-Purpose of visit

-Personal assets and financial status

This time I'll include a letter of personal support and assistance from a Canadian relative who resides in the same province where I am applying to (Alberta).

My question is whether this letter alone would be sufficient for me getting a visa? or do I need to add something else?

------

My info:

*Education:

-Bachelor degree in Biology (graduated in 2011)

-One year Education psychology diploma (2015)

*Work:

Science teacher (2011-Now)

*IELTS (academic)

Overall band score:7

L-8,R-7,W-6.5,S-7

*Bank Statement

Around 29,000 CAD (the cost of the whole 1-year certificate is almost 13,000 CAD)

---

I'm applying for a one-year certificate in Early Childhood Education at Bow Valley college in Calgary/Alberta.

I would REALLY appreciate if anyone could give me some advice here, thank you.

Could be the course you are looking to do may not be considered a natural follow on from your degree or psychology diploma although usually CIC would indicate this specifically. Maybe you need to include reasons for taking this particular course and how it fits with both your education and work experience. From a financial viewpoint they usually look at first year course fee plus approx 10k CAD.
