If one is asked to submit a certified copy of a doc., is it same as a notarized copy and to be done by a Notary Public?
Or it differs and is more simply done?

small confusions but can lead to catastrophic mistakes

Thanx...

I believe they are synonymous. The notary public certifies that he has seen the original doc and the duplicate is q true copy of original. Hope it helps.

A certified copy is attested by the original doc issuing authority.
