Hello, My wife from Serbia and I are prepping to submit our outland application and are trying to figure out what all needs to have a certified photocopy. We have looked at the document checklist but it doesn't really specify. I would think copies of passports shouldn't need to be certified because of security features etc but I am not sure. If I submit an original marriage license (I know I won't get it back) or Serbian birth certificate would that be an issue?

We also do not have a shared bank account as are currently both self dependent. As she is currently in Serbia we cannot put her name on an account here and same for me there. Is this really a big deal or? It is not that we have an issue with a shared bank account we just feel it isn't required at this stage of our lives.

Any experience with this will be very appreciated.

you are only required to submit photocopies or sometime certified photocopy of your support document, except the country specific requirement ask for the original.

its not mandatory you have a shared bank account....just provide other documents as requested in the checklist
