Bump.. Same question here. Could somebody please clarify? I have a PG Diploma on its way, but if this certification helps, it would hasten things a bit.

nope. only trades count, as in qualifications from completing apprenticeships. so mechanic, electrician, plumber, sheet metal worker etc.

Hi, I am an RN in Ontario. I got my RN license in April 2021, I have almost two years of RN full time experience in Canada and still working.. Am I eligible for 50 sweet points ?( certificate of qualification)
Actually, I already got 50 points.. and submitted the documents and paid fees as well.. but now generic message says 50 points they have given was an error.. at this point, what am I supposed to do ? I had 460 before they give me 50 .. and it came to 510. And got invited.. and I submitted all the documents as well.. I don’t know what to do now.
You don't qualify for the 50 points for having a certificate of qualification.
If 460 places you below the cut off for the draw where you were selected, then you should withdraw your application since it's not going to be approved.
You are not eligible for the 50 points as certificate for qualification is for trades only. Should not have submitted in the first place. IRCC has now realized the error. Your CRS score is 460 so if you received ITA then withdraw your submission. It will be refused anyways and you don’t want your application in process for a long time, and then you cannot enter any further draws.
