That's a bummer. I wonder what they are looking for in order to give a 9.

Had my 1st CELPIP test March 12 got L-10, R-9, W-9 , S-8. reapplied for reevaluation and got the results in 4 days. Speaking score did not change so I have to retake the exam.

Took another sitting last March 26 ,I got L-10, R-11 W-10, S-8 applied for re evaluation March 30- still waiting.
please provide some tips on reading and writing.

Last year I took a CELPIP test and got L-8, R-7, W-11 (surprisingly, on my IELTS usually it was the weakest part), and S-9.
At the end of July, I took another CELPIP test, and I got L-11, R-9, W-10, and S-8. Applied for re-evaluation on July 30, received it on August 2 with a new speaking result of 9. Feel satisfied, however, still thinking about writing results appeal.

I recently got my score L 10 R11 S11 W8 Do you think there is a chance of score boost?

It's always worth a try, especially since you have high scores on the other components. However, I did try to appeal my writing score, but they didn't change my result, unfortunately

Hello all, this forum has helped a lot. Just for everyone's information and if somebody find it useful. My previous score was L10 R11 W10 S8 on 03 March 2025. After some research I went for re-evaluation for speaking. Finally, after a week on 10th March I got my result with speaking score increased by 2 and my total score is L 10 R11 W10 S10. Now I have maxed out on my language test for EE. Hope this helps someone and always go for re-evaluation! Thanks

I got ITA for OINP but my CELPIP results had just expired a few days ago. I retook the whole test yesterday (Sunday, Dec 10).

While going through the speaking section, on the first task I was approached by one of the staff members asking me to lower my voice. I said something like "ok, I'm sorry" and then I noticed that the computer was still recording my first task. After that, I tried to lower my voice but they kept approaching me, which was very distracting. I ended up practically whispering to the microphone. I am concerned that this may affect my speaking score, so I sent a complaint on the website when I got home (I only had 48 hours to do so). When I sent it, I got a message saying that reviewing this complaint might delay my results.

Has anybody ever gone through something similar? What may be the outcome? Would they ask me to retake the speaking section? If I get a 10 I would be more than happy, but I wasn't sure if all those distractions were going to affect my score and now I don't know if I'll get my results in time before my OINP submission deadline.

Did your results get delayed? Did you max out on speaking? I experienced a similar issue today and submitted a complaint. The instructor kept distracting me.

That's great to hear! Did it take much longer for you to get the results?
Not really. I sent the complaint before getting the results, I got a reply within 48 hours saying that they didn't notice any problems with my voice recordings for the speaking section, and a few days later I got the results with an 11 in speaking, so I didn't complain.
