Sorry if this isn’t the right spot for this, seemed like the most appropriate category. We’ll be moving as TRs in a month to Victoria BC and I’m struggling to find an affordable international cell plan.

My research shows that Canada plans are just as expensive as the US. We’re on ATT right now in the US and it’s very expensive for an international plan—$185 US for two lines. Apart from Google Fi, everything sounds expensive. Any ideas?

Try Koodo. It has a 2G + unlimited Canada wide call plan for $55. For an additional $3 per month, you can call just about any country for $0.05 per minute.

I have used Koodoo pay as you go for over 18 months now - cheap enough and works really well.
