I only submitted reference letters for all the relevant work experiences (fulfilling CIC's criteria). I did not submit pay stubs, T4 tax information slips or notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency.

Is that acceptable?

Why? They are not mandatory! Everyone in this forum seems to think they are and that kinda confuses me.

Because obviously, T4's, Pay Stubs, Notice of Assessments & Records of Employment are the most bona fide evidence that would support work experience claimed under a CEC application. Anyone can just print some words on letter head, but IRCC can verify work experience through these, as they have gone through other government agencies which you agreed to allow sharing of your personal information to.

When so much depends on it, you should do everything (extra) that you can do to make a better case for yourself

It's not necessary but if you have it, submit it. It will just make things more clear and further reduce the chance of any issues

Hi,
you're correct. No need to add any more documentation that are requested in your personal checklist. If someone feels he/she needs to add some more doc he/she can do it though.
