Hi All,

I've been invited under the CEC class but just wondering if one of the experiences I'm using actually counts.

My first question is does NOC 1241 still counts for CEC application now. I heard sometimes last year that the government stopped application from such skill or someting.

Secondly, when leaving the job last year and was asked by my agency (who sent me to where I work for a company) to provide my job details, I just realized now that I'm gathering my application that I copied some of the job responsibilities verbatim as listed under NOC 1241 - and this is what my agency wrote in my reference/employment letter.

A question just arose within me of late that won't copying some job responsibilities verbatim count against my application despite that my employer (agency) can verify this if CIC decides to call them?

Thanks!

A direct copy of the responsibilities from the cic website typically will cause doubts. I suggest you paraphrase.

Wow! You are a star Tushya!

Thanks for your prompt response.

I'll try to do that. I just hope my agency will be happy to cooperate and give new letter with refined responsibilities.

Yaa, they better do that. Mine had one main responsibility copied from cic, I had to paraphrase it and ask my employer to sign.

That was a couple of years ago, before EE. Since EE, there have been no excluded occupations (as long as they are skilled).
