HI ,

I want to ask very important question, Like we all knows its been 1 year for September applicants and we are still waiting for medical request.

However, the question is after taking so much time to process our application they cant reject it because they cant keep someone on wait for more than 1 year if they really wanted to reject...?

They could make such negative decision at the beginning but they cant wait us so long if they want to reject.

At the last stage we will be running out of time

Waiting for experts opinion.

Thank you .

That's not likely to happen but not totally impossible in theory. If that ever happens to all applicants, they would call it "return" instead of "reject". They can certainly reject individual cases based on its qualification at anytime and time is not a factor here.

You might know it but that happened to the skilled worker program years ago and thousands of applications were returned which had been submitted a lot of years before CIC suddenly announced that. Those poor people waited for 4,5,6 years just like us and suddenly got notified that their applications were returned while cases submitted years after theirs continued to get processed, pretty much like if they continue with EE and return all CEC cases. The victims did protests from around the world and filed lawsuits and guess what, CIC won. That was way more ridiculous than the current situation we are facing at this point. Can't think of anything more evil than that.

Again, that's not likely to happen to CEC but not totally impossible in theory :D. As for one year, it is not a big deal or a long time at all for CIC.

But getting AOR means every thing is ok and complete right and i heard AOR means you will get your PR 90% rest 10% will be verification .....right , so i should not be worried .

It passed pre-screening by getting AOR and the package is considered largely complete. Even if there's any issue, they will usually ask for support materials down the road if they need to instead of rejecting it directly. Also, everyone else is also waiting and not only you. No need to worry too much. :)

Please contact megan.batchelor @ cbc.ca and let her know the inefficiency and lethargic attitude of CIC. I sent her an email with all the details and she responded back asking further details. She is legit and works as reporter for CBC. Her twitter handle @ MegsBatchelor
