Some good advice based on the pros and cons / risks is required on applying using the CEC or PNP.

I recently acquired my AINP nomination approval. As of June 16, 2010 I qualify under the CEC. Before I can apply under either, I still await my police clearance certificate. I note on the CIC website that CEC processing time trend is quicker that PNP. I also like CEC as it is not employer dependant etc should I lose my job or change my job in the future.

However, if I apply under CEC and I don not have permanent residency before my work permit expires, I will requrie a new LMO. If I apply under PNP and I haven't received my PR by the time my work permit expires I will NOT require an LMO to get my work permit extended.

What should I do, apply CEC or PNP?

Same Question I have.

Which is faster PNP (after nomination approved) Vs CEC ?

There's no reason you can't do both - apart from the headache and expense, that is.

CEC seems to have processing has slowed down for some reason. Provincial nominees are supposed to receive priority processing. You've already gone through half the process, and you've been approved - this is a good thing, given limits on the number of visas available. I would continue with the PNP, esp. with the extra benefit of the work permit...
