got the rejection letter on May 9 for the following reason:

"Your application was assessed based on the occupation(s) which you identified as part of your skilled work experience in Canada: Real Estate Agent (NOC 6232).

I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement. You claimed to be a Real Estate Agent for XXXXXX From March May 18, 2010 to February 21, 2012. However, your submitted your contract with your employer in which it is indicated that you are operating your business and the contract is with your business. Working for a company that you own is considered self-employment. As per regulation 87.1 (3)(b) any period of self employment cannot be included in the calculation of a period of work experience. As such, i am not satisfied that you have this work experience as claimed in your application. "

The realty is that i am a "licensed assistant to an Realtor" and i got paid by this Realtor through her account from our company. But i do not have T4 or any other benefit. I have my own business number and HST number.

The most important thing is that my 3 years PGWP is about to expire at early of August.

Is there anyone can give me some suggestion??? Any input will be greatly appreciated!!! :(

Hi why don't you apply for PNP? I would suggest you can ask your boss to apply for LMO.
You should extend your work permit first.
Or If they misunderstand your situation, you should write a letter to them to reopen your file.
You have a couple of months so focus on extension to your work permit.

I do not know what title should i use to apply for LMO? Still using the same one as i have applied for my PR which is Licensed Assistant? Or should i use something else??

Hi Neverforever,

Sorry to hear about your rejection

If you dont mind Could you please share your timeline.Like when did you applied for PR, when you received your AOR. As i am also February 2012 applicant but havent heard anything from CIC.
Also, the description says you are on PGWP ten why did you waited 2 years before applying.

Thank you

the realtor you work for is willing to apply for LMO? Thats the bottom line. you need a reference letter as well. as long as your job is in NOC 0,A,B, its good.
LMO can identify your NOC. you have a few month so i recommend to apply for LMO.

pick up the LMO application form(EMP5517) and ask your employer to fill.

http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/fwp_forms.shtml

did you do income tax 2011? you have notice of assessment? you can send out T4, payroll or whatever can tell your salary.
job description, salary, vacantion like job reference included. campany letter head is needed.
then fax them.
let me know if you need help. i applied my LMO a week ago.

Good luck man.
