CEC PR Offer Letter

Hi All,
My current employer used to provide offer letter earlier for Canada PR which has "Company intends to continue this employment for at least a year after issuance of a lawful Canada permanent resident visa to the above-named Employee." Now they stopped providing this letter but I have a letter from employer which states, I am permanent full-time employee. My current work permit is until Aug 2023 and company assignment letter and deputation letter also has Aug 2023 as end date. So shall i upload Assignment letter, Deputation Letter or Reference Letter as Offer Letter? or do we need a proper offer letter from employer?

It might or might not work. It depends on the discretion of the visa officer in the absence of "Company intends to continue this employment for at least a year after issuance of a lawful Canada permanent resident visa to the above-named Employee."

You can try to support it with a very detailed LOE. But the problem is that your deputation letter has end date as Aug 2023 which is roughly 9 months from now. If you have your WP along with these employee letters ending in 2024 or later, it would emphasize that your employer do plan to continue employ you for long.

What's are "assignment letters" and "deputation letters"?????? I have never heard of such things in 15 years of work.
