Hey Guys,

I have a question. I applied for CEC and got the CoPR. Is it possible to land and work in Québec? If yes, what would be the procedure for that?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

You will not be able to land in Quebec without a CSQ. There in nothing preventing you from landing elsewhere in Canada and then moving to Quebec but from what I've read here on the forum, without a CSQ, you will face issues finding employment, getting healthcare, etc.

Is CSQ a kind of work permit? Where can I find the process to obtain CSQ?

I do know one of my friend did the same. He had PR landing as Toronto and landed in Quebec. You can also land in Quebec, do the immigration check in and you can start working (if you have a job offer in quebec). After landing immediately after for SIN and health card. I do know that during your health card the officer/staff will ask questions like why you landed quebec (if not your destination) and for how long you will be staying in Quebec.
Good luck

Yes you can. I have a colleague who got PR through CEC but crossed the border in Quebec to US and landed here in Quebec. Whoever says that you cant land in Quebec knows nothing.

The Process changed based on the things done in the past by many people, you can do landing in Quebec but you might have to show good proof that you are living or going to live outside Quebec. like a rental agreement(or Property), employer letter(or Job offer), bank statement etc... IF you Applied from Quebec and landing on a Port of Entry outside the Province of Quebec, the immigration officer will ask the same. If someone landed recently and the Immigration officer didn't asked these then he is Lucky.

Also, if you want to Apply for RAMQ(Quebec health card) after the landing they will ask for CAQ/CSQ, without that you wont be able to register for the health card in Quebec.

I lived in Montreal for 2.5 years and applied CEC, did landing last May 25th on Prescott Ontario... the Immigration officer asked all these document. He asked my Driver license and I didn't changed it to Ontario.. he agreed because but I had all the other docs and I started living in Ottawa one month before.
