AOR Received.

Hi Experts,

I applied for my CEC PR application and recd my AOR (email from CIO). While sending my application to CIO I opted visa office as CPP-O. I would be moving back to my home country in next couple months. My questions -

1. Would it impact my CEC PR application which is already 4 months in process from within Canada?
2. Once I move back to my home country (not Visa exempt) would they transfer my file to my home country visa office or would it continue to process from CPP-O? If they move would it impact the timelines?
3. Where would they need me to send the passports for stamping (assuming the application is approved)?

I did call the CIC call center with my questions, they dont seem to provide a clear answer. I am not very familiar with this process or could nt find anthing except that I need to keep CIC updated of my change in address.

Has anyone been though this situation? If so pls share your experiences....

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!!

1. No
2. No - even if you file outside Canada, all CEC applications are processed in Ottawa.
3. When you are asked to pay your RPRP (towards the end of the process), you can ask CIC if you can have you passport stamped in New Dehli. They will be able to arrange this.
If you are not an Indian passport holder then you would need to find another way to get your passport to CIC
if you do a search or skim through this forum there is a whole long thread on sending passports to CPP-O

Thank you for yr reply Ipc19800...
