CEC OCT 2014 Applicant - Out of Canada on Holiday

Hi All,
I applied CEC in the month of OCT i.e last month and I know I will receive AOR by end of Jan or Mid of Feb . I've Canada closed work permit till May 23rd 2015 . I want to visit England for Christmas holidays . Is it good idea to leave the country without AOR . I may go out for 2 weeks .

Can any one of you please share your thoughts?
