Hi all,
In September, I started a second part-time job as a Medical Administrative Assistant NOC B (1243), but the hours that they need me will conflict with the daycare hours of operation as of April 2018, since the Medical office is offering me additional shifts. I haven't counted the hours worked to date for this yet but I will soon.
My question is: If I were to leave the daycare in April and look for another part-time position that complements the Medical Admin Assistant hours and is also a NOC B/A/0, will these hours continue to add up to my total? And if so, will I need to provide a letter of reference for each of the 3 positions when I apply? (Daycare, Medical Admin + whatever job replaces daycare in April)
The main reason I would be doing this change is because the medical office is offering me additional shifts a week, which I want to accept, but since they are not able to offer me FT work hours, I still need a second source of income, and would like for it to count towards my Permanent Residency application as well...... So i will be needing something to replace my current Daycare job that has a better-fitting schedule.
Please advise!
Do let me know if the question did not make sense at any point.
Edit:
For reference, I currently have the Post-Graduation Work Permit, an open work permit which allows me to work with children.
- Is the 1 year of FT or 2 years of Part time experience counted by the total hours worked?
- Will it work with multiple part time positions?
