CEC Medical Query

Hi all,

First thing first thank you so much for all of your active participation in this forum. Special thank you to some of the star members who have been striving hard to cater to most of the queries with their self experiences, old wives tales and research.

Honestly, this whole wait period is nerve wrecking and I would have gone insane with all the uncertainties had I not seen the progress with most of the applicants who have applied around the same time as me so a big "Kudos!!!" for all the spreadsheets and the great work that the active members have been doing in regular maintenance and updates.

I wish to go for Medical tests upfront so I was wondering if somebody could share an email format for MR as in what all is covered in that email. Like a sample of the format same as the AOR sample format, in fact if the folks who have already landed could submit generic formats(without any personal details) of all the communications received from CIC (i.e. MR, PPR, landing visa, RPRF etc.) during the complete PR process then that would be greatly appreciated.

Another thing, what does one need for upfront medical exam apart from a copy AOR(which has file number) is passport required like IELTS?

Also, tentatively how much does it cost in India to get the medicals done? There are no physicians from the CIC panel in my city so I am planning for either Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad or Delhi (basically any city in India will do).

PS : I did search for this info in other previous related threads however I couldn't find the exact info. In case if it already exists then kindly direct me that thread.
