Does anyone know or maybe heard that CEC use Job Wage Matrix?? Let's say..each occupation should be waged appropriately using Matrix System, if applicants salary ll be low he ll get denial..

Any thoughts about it?

My coworker told me that they use Wage Matrix ..

I guess yes! During immigration they approve visas based on the pay for a particular job.

This website gives a general idea of the wage (low - medium - high) for Canada and any provinces and regions for your NOC code.

If your wage is only slightly below the low-wage number, I don't think it's a problem. There is no hard-coded wage number. But if you wage is super low comparing to others in your profession, it might raise red flags.

But VOs are still advised to disregard the wage. There is no minimum wage for CEC applicants.
They use the wage and total annual earnings along with your t4 and reference letter to
calculate your work experience.

But yes, if your profession would be rocket scientist and you only get paid $5/hr, that would look weird, indeed.

Agreed! This should only be a worry if the wage is completely disproportionate to your qualifications....as toby put it: aerospace engineer making minimum wage of 10/hr. If you are within or near the range, and your wage is commensurate with your position/level at company, dont think its much to be concerned about.

Relax. $12 is a little below the low value but should be fine.

Yes, you'll be fine. Continue gathering necessary documents and check back in if you have further questions.

I looked at the average - medium and high and was thinking how would it differentiate years of experience. E.g. i think my job offer is just okay, not low but not too high either. However, according to my NOC code it hovers around the high category. However, i have like 7-8 years of experience in my domain where as the figures would range between all sorts of experiences.
