Hi
I received ITA under CEC whilst working under OWP for over a year with my employer.
Question 1 : Can I continue to apply for PR whilst working on OWP?
Question 2 : Does my same employer need to apply for an LMIA?
Question 3 : Do I need to apply for OBWP? Fyi, I am presently on implied status awaiting my new OWP.

1. Yes
2. Is this for a job offer points? If so, yes
3. You can apply for BOWP only if you have received an AOR AND your wp is about to expire in 4 months. You’re already waiting for new OWP, so I guess your sorted.

Thanks.
1. Noted.
2. No I dont know if I should or if I can increase points by getting a job offer after ITA issued. However I intend to continue working on my OWP that I received basis my spouse and now I am on implied status with the OWP extension in processing. Correct me if Im wrong - Doesn't ITA imply that CRS score is immaterial once ITA is issued or does the CRS score still matter during the PR application processing?
3. Im on implied status with my OWP extension in processing. So do I need to apply for BOWP too?

Not sure on LMIA and OWP extension. Wait for others. The website isn’t clear if you need an LMIA..
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ada/hire-temporary-foreign/extend-permit.html

You can only apply for BOWP if you already submitted your PR application AND your work permit is expiring. But since you already have a work permit extension ongoing, you can continue working on that premise. If you get your work permit extension at some point and it will expire again towards, let’s say end of the year, AND your PR application is still ongoing, instead of applying for another extension, you can apply for BOWP instead since you already have an AOR letter. Hope this make sense.
