CEC inland - 9 months since AOR is it normal?

Hi all! I submitted in early May and passed the biometrics in Oct. Now it's still 'We are processing your background check. ' Is it normal? I heard normally all should be done in about half year?

Last year, CEC applications took, on average, 7 months to complete. Factor in a global pandemic, and yes, in some cases, it could take longer. You might be in enhanced security screening.
