• Providing administrative and event support to the Limited Partnership and the corporation for its programs/projects and investment activities under supervision of the President and the board.

Reply me,

This is one of the occupations whose duties could also fall under an unskilled NOC code. To be on the safe side, obtain a detailed description of your main duties from your employer(it should be in their own words, not copied from the NOC code), then email HRDSC (noc-cnp@workingincanada.gc.ca) and ask them for the NOC code. If they say 1221, submit a copy of their reply with your application.

Hi SenoritBella,

Can you comment about Company actually this company has LP (limited partnership ) private.

Hi,
I'm not sure I understand your question: do you have some kind of partnership with the company? Are you asking whether you are eligible to apply under CEC if you are also an owner of the company?

I know that self-employment is not eligible under the CEC class.

Hi Bella,

I fall under the same NOC, hence i was planning to write to HRSDC...

Does the response from HRSDC help in any way? If yes, how?
Should i make a suggestion to them while writing that the job duties relate to NOC 1431 higher-skilled occupation - skill level A?

Thank you.

Looking forward to hear from you.

"1221 Administrative officers" is no longer eligible for CEC.

It has been removed, so check before applying.

Thank you for the prompt response, Roth... I will write to HRSDC to confirm with them... I believe NOC 1221 was skilled when I was issued the LMO based on my existing job duties and responsibilities...

It doesn't matter if hrsdc think it's skilled. As of today, this noc is no longer elogible for cec.

Does that mean accumalating experience under NOC 1221 as of today is not eligible...??? Since my work experience was accumalated prior to this change, do you think that counts...???

As of today, you aren't eligible for CEC with experience in this NOC. You should look at the provincial nominee program to see if you have any options.

That's unfair to all the people who have been accumalating work experience in these six effected NOCs wanting to apply under CEC... Like myself... Well, it is what it is... May be this is better for us... So you are saying PNP which is much faster and stronger but I noticed the quota of 1300 in Ontario is maxed for 2013... Doesn't this change effect PNP, in the sense that the six codes are no longer skilled as well...???

Thank you for the prompt response...

No no no. The skill level of these NOC's aren't changing. The change is in relation to CEC only.

I don't know much about PNP but since CEC isn't available, I imagine it's one of the few options available to you for PR.

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking your time to write to me... :)
