CEC - Eligibility

Hello Guys,

Need some info. I been in Canada from Aug 2012 to Nov 2013 with IBM (Work Permit) and then left. I do have experience and salary certificate from IBM Canada for the period I worked in IBM.

Now I am planing to apply PR. Will I be still eligible to file PR as CEC category ??

Please suggest.

Sorry, no, you are not eligible. You need to have one year of Canadian work experience within the last three years. Your Canadian experience falls outside of this window.

No, that experience is no longer eligible for the CEC program, but you will still get CRS points for your Canadian experience. If you qualify under the FSW program, you can still apply.
