Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi

I'm planning to send my complete CEC package early next year just to complete my 12 months full time skilled work experience NOC 6212. I just so wonder because one my colleague told me that there is an equivalent amount in hours in order to qualify for CEC, not necessarily completing the 12 months full time experience. Is that possible?

Thanks in advance.

You must have 12 months, in calendar days.

52 weeks with a minimum of 30hrs per week is the bare minimum, comes to a total of 1560 hours.
Like toby said, in addition to the 12 month rule, you are required to work full time of at least 30hrs per week, for a total of 1560 hrs. You must check off both to be eligible.

If you have less hours, then you need to work longer, until you have accumulated the said. Many on here have also recommended giving yourself an extra few weeks, if you can, just as a buffer. So the VO is not digging into detail and calculating to the last possible hour. If you cant, its understandable, but still recommended.
