Hello
Can anyone please help me, i would be really appreciate.

I did diploma program in Information Technology in Canada for 2 yrs. and doing IT job based on my studies in a reputed registered landscaping company in Waterloo. I would have one yr experience by Jan2014. So my question is Though its not an IT company but my job (Technical Job) falls under NOC cats and if i would have one year experience, would i be eligible applying under Canadian Experience Class ?
Thanks in advance.

First of all, it's interesting to see how many people started using my nickname here. LOL.

Now, to answer your question.
It does not matter what company you work with, but your duties have to match a NOC A,B or 0 job.
If you meet the requirements for the CEC class ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp ),
then yes, you're eligible.

Yes, as per the NOC cat, my duties match. and one more question if you wont mind to help me out.

Last month i applied to extend my visa and i got visa as well. But in employment letter i mentioned my Job Position as a "Web Developer" that falls under NOC A, but what if i want to change my JOB POSITION in applying for CEC that falls under NOC B.
So my question is do the immigration go through the old employment letter and if so then would there be any issue changing the job position ??

Thanks in advance. :)

AFAIK, its not just the name of the position, the responsibilities and duties you execute should match the appropriate NOC code, if that matches then you should be fine, I dont think your old employment letter would matter for your PR application.

Thanks so much BIG BEE>>>>> :D..I really appreciate...

Second that, don't go by the title, go and select the NOC according to the duties your perform in your position.
Job titles vary from employer to employer.

Thanks Toby. Really appreciate..

You don't need to send the PCC with your application. You can submit it later on in the application process.
For further document requirements please refer to the document checklist:

Thanks Toby.
I am getting married in feb2014 but i ll be eligible for cec in jan2014. and so what you suggest should i apply just myself before my wedding or i should wait to get married and then bring the marriage certificate and apply for my wife as well.

or can i submit the document the marriage later as well after applying..which one do you think would be better?

Applying alone as a principal applicant or together with spouse??

2. whats the total fees for applying under CEC for 2 persons?

Thanks again in advance ...:)

Since there's only one months between you becoming eligible and you getting married,
I would wait and submit when you are married. Makes it easier for you.

Processing fees are $550 per person PLUS $490 per person later on in the process.
Here's a list:

Thanks Toby
I ll submit app after wedding.

So fees should be - 550x2 +490= 1590 for 2 persons.

and the processing time is exactly 12 mnths ??? or it can be longer or lesser.??

Thanks Toby in advance..:)

Estimate is now 13 months but it can be more or less - no one can predict what happens

2x $550 processing fee = $1010 My bad, ups. >> $1100
2x $490 right of permanent residence fee = $980
---------------------------------------------------

To a grand total of: $1990 2080

And processing times vary can be as long as 13-14 months or shorter.

hmmm great... and how long it takes to get the confirmation on successful submission of application from CIC?
and someone also told me when you can get this confirmation this means your chances of getting PR are around 99%.

Is it true???

Thanks again in Advance TOBY:)
