Hello there,

Can anyone please guide me on the eligibility for CEC experience that occurred over more than 36 months, as my work permit was extended according to Public Policy 2022 and I was laid off and had lost first year for find Skilled job.
Thus I am not able to fit my 2 years of CEC within last 36 months.
Does IRCC allow for claiming the cec experience occurred in the last 5 year?
I still have a work permit of 1.15 year but will have to wait until the 2 years of my cec experience fall within last 36 months as my experience that started 3 years ago now fall under more than 36 months old.
Does this experience still count?
Note: I was laid off for more than a year and have worked on skilled job, which is why my ilder experience is falling out if 36 months.
Thanks for your help

Canadian experience not within the 36 months can be counted as foreign experience. You need one year of Canadian experience within the last 3 years to be eligible for CEC.

Well, I have always foreign work experience of 2 years.
Can I claim my 2 years of CEC Which I gained in the last 3 years amd 4 months?
these two jobs have different NOC and between them, i was laid off and worked for non skilled job.

You can claim any Canadian skilled experience (NOC A-B, TEER 0-3) within the last 3 years. TEER 4/5 and NOC C/D do not count towards Express Entry.

One more question please answer.
Do I need a complete 1 year or at least 52 weeks of worked with the same NOC, in canada?
because I have as supervisor for 11 months ,and manager in different company for 8 months and laid off.
Please note that I also have 2 years of experience as a civil engineer in India.

As long as skilled you can use more than one NOC. So far you have 19 months or one year of Canadian experience if within the last 3 years. .
