CEC documents - transcript, diploma or both?

Hi there,

Just finishing up completing my package to submit for my PR invite.
I'm struggling a bit with the university documents.
On the official website it says to include a scan of a diploma but the second bullet point says 'transcripts if available.'
I graduated from a university here in Ontario. My school provided only a diploma. I can get a transcript with an additional fee BUT do I really have to?
Will it be fine if I submit only a scan of my diploma?

I saw this topic a few times on the forum but there's not clear answer really.

With all the other requirements you have to fulfill to apply for PR, are you really balking at getting a transcript??? That is about the cheapest, easiest document to get... just do it.
