CEC category PR person can not work directly in Quebec. So is there any work around for those who want PR from CEC category but want to work in Quebec afterwards? Is there any locking period?

Please provide more details....

Once you get your PR you can move to Quebec.

After you get your PR, you can go anywhere in Canada. Doesn't matter. It's just during the process that I would caution against it.

I heard stories about PR cancellation as Quebec doesn't allow CEC submission :o. Quebec immigration / CIC will get info when someone goes for medical card and other QC facilitites from govt......CIC asked to get out of QC within 6 months before taking any action on PR status... ???
Also it is written in some other forums that you can not enter directly into Quebec .i.e port of entry must not be quebec when you get PR.

Is it required to stay atleast 1 year outside quebec and then enter Quebec for CEC PR?

Plz plz....provide info which is more authentic and trustworthy....

They can't cancel pr because you're in Quebec. The can only deny your CEC application. So again, if you have or you can be in Quebec. If you're still waiting for the CEC application to finish you could be denied. This is the only correct information.

I'm in a similar situation, working n living in Montreal. But my company gave me a letter that I will be relocated to Toronto after PR wherewe have an office. Is that OK?
I want to live in Toronto not QC.

My situation is somewhat different....
Due to job market..I would like to work in Montreal,QC.

Kushari-
I may be going back before my PR approval. But once I have PR in India, I want to come to Montreal for job...is it possible..or there will be some restrictions???
What is your thought on ----Port of entry should not be Quebec..if intended work location is not QC in CEC PR application, if it is mentioned as Toronto ON.

Once you have PR, you can go anywhere so Quebec is not an issue. It's an issue during the process only.
