CBSA officer approved my work permit, but did not give it to me.

I've recently moved to Canada for work. I went through the rainbow bridge border PoE; while I was there I applied for my work permit. They had me waiting for about 5 hours, during that time I had my biometrics done. The officer finally came out to tell me that I was approved, but also told me that they could not hand me my work permit because their printer had stopped working. He then advised me that my work permit would be mailed to my lawyers office in Toronto. I have been waiting in Canada for almost 3 weeks for my work permit to be mailed, I have not been able to work because of it. My lawyer is not doing much he just tells me to wait, but I'm getting frustrated I've tried to call IRCC but due to my English being very limited they could not understand my inquiry. So my question to everyone out there is what do you all I think I should do?

Hello, I’m the same person who started that thread I still have no information about my work permit. My lawyer a few days ago told me to not worry that I was going to be mailed within the next few days it has already been 3 more days and. Itching. I’m desperate I feel lost.

You were already given answers in your other thread. You either need to wait or you can try going to the border again. Those are your options.
