I am currently working as a food service supervisor and have completed one year of experience. After the announcement of category based system for express entry, I am worried if we will get general draws as well or not ?

No one knows what will happen. The government has targeted certain and NOCs and those who are bilingual for draws but would assume there will be some general draws. Have to wait to see when and how often targeted draws are.

Should I select the category based NOC as primary
NOC to get selected? Anyone who got ITA in this scenario, please let me know?
Noting that if I put the noc code which has less than a year as primary code the system rejects it and my profile becomes ineligible! What should I do please help

You cannot select a NOC as primary if you don’t have a year.

I know, but they only ask for 6 months experience in qualifying noc code
Smth might be wrong !!
is the draw going to be based on primary noc code or work history ?

Is this Canadian or Foreign experience. You need to meet EE eligibility requirements first before meeting category based draws. Not sure if they select secondary NOC.

In fact, I meet all the requirements for express entry eligibility, but the problem is with that condition. They’re asking for six months of experience, and I have the six months actually I have nine, so it is a bit confusing

Oh, it’s foreign experience I don’t have any experience inside Canada I’ve just came here and studied and didn’t work in any kind of occupation so far

So first you need to be eligible for EE-FSW.

I am eligible , I have 8 years if foreign experience , 9 months of them only are in a qualifying noc code for transportation category (which also matches the ircc requirements) minimum 6 months of continuous experience in one of the qualifying noc codes
