no where you need to show salary slips. But you need to show bank statements for your money for the proof of fund.
And also your job letter need to have your salary details.

Ofcourse. Just that you need to show the Reference Letter which is in accordance to the CIC's requirement. If you have that figured out, then pay-slips or tax-documents are optional. Good luck.
